Q. Where can I use my video?
A. We provide you with an HD .mp4 video file that is compatible with most devices. You can keep a copy of your video file on your computer for presentations, upload it to YouTube, show it at a family reunion, or whatever you like! If you need a different format for some reason, just talk to your producer about your specific need.
Q. Do I need to come up with all the money up front?
A. Not if you don’t want to. If you order 2 minutes half the payment is due at contract signing and the remainder is due at when the video is completed. If you order 4 minutes or more it is split into 3 payments. One third at signing and the second payment after 30 days and the final payment at 60 days. One other good thing to know is that you minutes of video can be split up any way you like. For example a 4 minute video package could be any combination of a introduction videos, client testimonials, product or service videos, etc.
Q. What if I don’t like the finished product?
A. No worries. We have several approval steps along the way to make sure you’ll fall in love with your video. Plus, there are examples of our videos in our Video Gallery, so you know exactly what to expect.
Q. How long will it take from accepting your services to the day the video is on my website?
A. That mostly depends on the amount of time you take on the approval steps. But timelines are typically anywhere from 3-6 weeks.
Q. What if I order 3 videos that total 4 minutes and 14 seconds, will I be charged extra for the 14 seconds?
A. Nope. Let’s keep it simple. Up to 30 seconds over, we’ll round down. 31 seconds or more and we’ll round up to the next minute and we’ll make sure you get the most out of the extra time.
Q. Will all my images be custom drawn?
A. Yes. We have incredibly talented artists who draw the images for your videos from scratch. You can even give us photos of you, your staff, your product, or your office and our artists will draw the characters to look like you!
Q. Who does the narration for the videos?
A. We use dozens of professional voice actors who have experience working in Hollywood animation studios, video games, audio books, and so on. And we record them in a state-of-the-art recording studio to ensure your videos have the highest quality sound.
Q. What if this is my first video and I’m not sure what to do?
A. Whether this is your first video or you’ve made dozens, you’re going to love working with us. You get a dedicated production coordinator to help walk you through every step of the process. Think of your production coordinator as a creative project manager. He or She will make sure you’re happy with the scripts, storyboards, animation, narrators, and of course, the final videos.

Q. How much time do I need to put into this?
A. You can be involved as little or as much as you like. We do have a few approvals (script and storyboard) that you need to weigh in on, but other than that, we’ll work around what works best for you.
Q. How long is a typical video? Why?
A. Our Videos are usually around 2 minutes long. We like to keep videos short to keep viewers engaged and excited about your product or service. But we also want to make sure we give enough information to help convince them to take action. 1.5 to 2.5 minutes tends to be the sweet spot, but depending on your message, it could be longer or shorter. Regardless of length, we’ll make sure we keep your viewers engaged.
Q. Why should I choose your video over live actors on location or a film set?
A. Live video is great! But there are many logistical challenges especially with shorter videos. If you’re doing a longer video project, live video can work great and there are economies to scale. But for short videos designed to engage, inspire and convince viewer to act… our illustrated videos are a perfect, affordable fit!
